Sr Machine Operator

Job Description

Machine Operation sets up and operates a variety of CNC Swiss Lathes to machine Stainless Steel parts to exacting tolerances and dimensions.

Must be able to keep 2 machines set up and running / we are a low volume production facility.

Read blueprints and follow work orders. Responsible for quality of work.

May be required to run CNC mills or manual machinery.

May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Technical School Preferred
• 5 years minimum related work experience and/or training required
• Experience with CNC Swiss style lathes as well as CNC mills.
• Able to perform complete setups in a timely manner
• Able to work second shift: Monday through Thursday 3:00pm to 1:30am with overtime on Fridays
