Responsibilities

• Ensure the effective risk selection of cases reviewed.
• Frequent interaction with Underwriting, New Business and distribution groups.
• Approval authority up to ($1,500,000 - $2,500,000) through all tables and all ages.
• Evaluate up to $3,500,000.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• A minimum of 4 years life or health underwriting experience.
• Demonstrated skill in AWD or similar system, MS Office skills, risk assessment skills and strong platform skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of two LOMA classes, working toward FLMI designation.
• Have completed the AALU Certification, while working towards FALU.

Working Conditions

The Salary for this position generally ranges between $79,000-$95,000 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law. Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus of 12.5% based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
