We're looking for a Senior Life Safety Systems (LSS) Designer to help shape advanced facilities where technology and safety go hand in hand. From semiconductor manufacturing to data centers and state-of-the-art research facilities, you'll play a critical role in delivering designs that protect people and assets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and drafting of life safety and security systems for advanced facilities
  • Utilize AutoCAD and Revit MEP to create and coordinate 3D BIM models with architects and engineers
  • Assist in developing layouts for Fire Alarm Detection Systems, HPM leak detection, Toxic Gas Management Systems, and Security/Intrusion Detection Systems
  • Ensure designs meet industry standards and client requirements, delivering accurate, constructible solutions

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • At least 10 years of Drafting/design experience
  • Systems design experience with Fire Alarm Systems, Voice Evacuation, Gas Detection, VESDA, Access Control, CCTV
  • NICET Level II certification
  • AutoCAD and/or Revit experience
  • Visa Sponsorship is not available for this role

Preferred Skills

  • 3-5 years of Revit design experience
  • Knowledge of IFC, IBC, NFPA 70, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, and NFPA 72 Fire Alarm and Signaling Code
  • Knowledge of Fire/Life Safety systems and manufacturer's equipment
  • Industrial design experience
  • NICET Level III certification (or the ability to obtain this certification within one year of hire)

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $80,600.00 to $121,880.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
