About the role
The Sr Leader, HMDA & Fair Lending Analytics is responsible for driving data-driven strategies that enhance fair lending practices and ensure compliance with HMDA regulations. This role requires a deep understanding of financial data analysis and strong leadership skills to guide teams in achieving organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies to improve fair lending practices and regulatory compliance.
- Lead cross-functional teams in analyzing complex financial datasets to identify trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather insights and drive actionable recommendations.
- Ensure all activities are aligned with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services or related fields, with a focus on data analytics and regulatory compliance.
- Proven track record of leading teams and managing projects from conception to completion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and derive meaningful insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with HMDA reporting and regulatory compliance processes is highly desirable.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in statistical software and data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or SAS.
- Experience with HMDA data and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Knowledge of fair lending laws and regulations.
