About the role

You will execute quality, food safety, and regulatory programs within Mondelēz and across manufacturing, packing, and warehousing partners. This position involves managing day-to-day Quality strategy execution, implementing initiatives at manufacturing locations, and ensuring products meet specifications for food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and verify Quality Control Management Systems (QCMS).
  • Audit manufacturing control plans for new products and processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement in Quality Assurance and Food Safety by setting goals and identifying key performance indicators.
  • Ensure adherence to appropriate regulations and Company standards for quality.
  • Communicate and manage North America Ventures Manufacturing Quality scorecards and achievement of goals.
  • Implement Quality initiatives at North America Ventures Manufacturing locations.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Corporate Quality, and R&D to ensure seamless communication and successful hand-offs during new product launches.
  • Understand drivers of consumer preference and ensure Critical To Quality (CTQ) and Critical To Process (CTP) parameters are managed according to Manufacturing Standards.
  • Facilitate IL6S and the Manufacturing Standards journey at North America Venture Manufacturing locations.
  • Support execution of Consumer Inspired Quality, including CTPs and CTQs, at manufacturing and repacking locations.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Food Science, Engineering, Microbiology, Chemistry, or other related Sciences.
  • Minimum 3+ years of related experience in Quality, Supply Chain, Food Safety, and/or R&D.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work.
  • Experience partnering with external partners.
  • Experience working in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Fundamental understanding of Sanitation, Hygienic Design, Pest Control, Quality, HACCP, and Food Safety principles.
  • Highly proficient computer (MS Office) and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Approximately 30%-40% travel may be required for key project needs.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $109,000 to $149,875, depending on experience, skills, education, and location. This position is also eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
