About the role
Ortho Molecular Products is seeking a Senior Laboratory Technical Analyst to join our Quality Control team. This position is located in Stevens Point, WI, and is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm.
Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods (HPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS, ICP-MS, UV-Vis, etc.) to support R&D, manufacturing, and quality control needs
- Analyze raw materials, botanicals, nutritional extracts, intermediates, and finished products for identity, purity, potency, and stability
- Troubleshoot existing methods and techniques and identify opportunities for improvement for existing methods
- Assess testing methodologies across different sample matrices and instrumentation, and evaluate results from contract laboratories to ensure methods and parameters are properly executed
- Offer expertise during investigations of our spec results and provide input on corrective and preventative actions
- Maintain and independently operate laboratory instruments including calibration and method verification
- Lead projects and complete within the timeline expectations seeking help and general supervision as needed
- Draft SOPs, MOPs, and forms for applicable laboratory procedures
- Collaborate with R&D and product development team to design and implement testing protocols
- Provide leadership for specialty areas and train others as required, and schedule daily tasks to coincide with project deadlines
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in chemistry or Ph.D. in chemistry with 5 years of experience
- Proven track record in method development and validation, particularly for complex matrices
- Deep expertise in advanced chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques (e.g., HPLC, LC-MS, GC, ICP-MS, NMR)
- Experience with natural products chemistry and complex botanical or nutritional matrices is highly valued
- Minimum 4 years laboratory experience in dietary supplements or related science industry required
- Proficient knowledge of laboratory and quality systems
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and Regulations

Pay
The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $95,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm.
