Sr. Laboratory Scientist - Hematology/Coagulation

About the role

Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA is hiring an experienced Sr. Medical Laboratory Scientist to work full days (6a-230pm) in Hematology/Coagulation. Generous Sign on Bonus up to $20,000 for qualified candidates!

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing and interpret test results using scientific knowledge and principles of test procedures and disease processes.
• Recommend contingency testing.
• Develop, maintain, and manage daily technical operations, including staff training and education, implementation of instrumentation, and accreditation readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in medical technology or Biology/Chemical Science.
• ASCP, AMT, or AAB certification.
• 3 years of laboratory tech experience (required).
• Hematology/Coagulation experience (preferred).
