Responsibilities
- Build a technology vision and strategy for a solution or business domain using a holistic approach, including solution analysis, design, planning, and implementation.
- Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) between IT and the business for the solution.
- Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to develop solution designs for assigned business capabilities.
- Work with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and other Architects to shape and align product roadmaps and deliver new features.
- Present complex technical proposals to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Conduct proof-of-concept (POC) evaluations for new technologies and approaches.
- Lead the development team during solution implementation, translating business requirements into technical language.
- Communicate effectively with Data Architects for table design and provide contracts for the data team to create table designs.
- Work across multiple projects with various individuals and groups.
- Promote re-use through inner sourcing opportunities.
- Recognize industry technology trends and emerging technologies, understanding how they apply to and drive adoption within the organization.
- Actively promote the mission of the company within the organization.
- Collaborate effectively and follow up to ensure achievement of deadlines, outcomes, and results.
- Demonstrate company core values of excellence, ownership, collaboration, and integrity.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of solution architecture experience, including creating solution architecture and high-level design documents, solution decomposition into domains, API design, creating epics and stories for developers, and managing implementation teams.
- Experience creating contract documents for data teams.
- Microservice design experience, including REST-based microservice APIs.
- Deep experience in Agile/Lean development methodologies.
- Excellent knowledge and strong experience with AWS services.
- Good knowledge of containerization tools and technologies (RedHat OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong proficiency with Java and Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Spring Boot), SQL and NoSQL DBMS (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB), and procedural and object-oriented development.
- Strong proficiency in Kafka message queues.
- Good understanding of DevOps processes and CI/CD tools.
- 5+ years of experience as a lead.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills in a global organization.
- Strong collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Pay
Minimum Compensation: USD 33,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 118,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate.
