Sr Java Developer - Onsite (No OPT, CPT)

About the role

The Sr Java Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining complex software applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality Java applications using modern design patterns and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Ensure software quality through automated testing and continuous integration processes.
• Support production systems and troubleshoot issues as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with Java 8 and above.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with Spring Framework and Hibernate.
• Knowledge of RESTful services and microservices architecture.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with NoSQL databases.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
