Sr Java Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Java, SpringBoot, and Python.
• Design and implement AWS Cloud solutions with services such as Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, SQS, Event Bridge, and Kafka.
• Utilize Cucumber for Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Mockito for unit testing.
• Work with both SQL (e.g., Aurora) and NoSQL (e.g., DynamoDB) databases.
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Bamboo, GitHub, and Docker.
• Build and maintain scalable applications using Microservices architecture and API Gateway.
• Monitor and observe systems using tools like Splunk, CloudWatch, and Honeycomb.
• Apply problem-solving skills within agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6+ years of development experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Java, SpringBoot, and Python.
• Experience in AWS Cloud Engineering with services such as Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, SQS, Event Bridge, and Kafka.
• Proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Bamboo, GitHub, and Docker.
• Robust knowledge of Microservices architecture and API Gateway.

Skills

$59.53 - $64.53 per hour
