Sr Java AWS Developer - TS Clearance

About the role

SSEC is seeking a Sr. Java Developer with TS/SCI clearance for an onsite position 5 days a week. The ideal candidate will have top skills in Java, AWS, Spring Boot, AWS RDS, PostgreSQL, Redis, PKI/SSL, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, Keycloak, and SES Systems Engineering Services Corporation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality Java applications using Spring Boot framework.
• Design, develop, and implement scalable and secure cloud-based solutions on AWS.
• Work with AWS RDS, PostgreSQL, Redis, and other databases to ensure efficient data management.
• Implement security measures including PKI/SSL, OpenSearch, and Keycloak to protect sensitive data.
• Utilize DynamoDB for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, developers, and clients to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of software development processes and practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Java development.
• Experience with AWS services such as RDS, S3, EC2, and VPC.
• Strong understanding of Spring Boot and related technologies.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL, Redis, and other NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of PKI/SSL, OpenSearch, and Keycloak for securing applications.
• Experience with DynamoDB for database design and optimization.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for learning new technologies and staying current in the industry.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
