100% remote, 12-month W2 contract role based in EST.
Responsibilities
- Design, code, and unit test applications using cloud, backend, API, and database technologies.
- Write and maintain system and unit tests.
- Work with story cards and tasking cards using a point system.
- Create and update technical documentation and designs.
- Present results to technical leads during requirements syncs.
Requirements
- Strong experience with AWS cloud services: Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, Event Bridge, and CloudWatch.
- Proficiency in Terraform for AWS infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Strong development skills in C#.
- Experience with SQL Server.
- Experience with OpenShift platform and API development.
- Understanding of Event-Driven Architecture implementation patterns.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of related work experience programming and supporting software applications.
- OR completion of a technical training program and 4 years of related work experience.
- OR a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology or a related field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Science) and 4 years of related work experience.
Preferred Skills
- Experience developing and maintaining Integration Tests.
Schedule
- 12-month contract.
