Sr. ISSO

This Sr. ISSO position supports a tech company in the Raleigh, NC area and is ideal for a security professional with extensive experience in classified environments, Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes, and Intelligence Community compliance initiatives. The role is a long-term contract requiring onsite presence in Raleigh, NC, 5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Support system accreditation efforts in compliance with ICD 503 and RMF requirements.
• Maintain security documentation, policies, procedures, and authorization packages.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and continuous monitoring activities.
• Implement and validate Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) across systems and networks.
• Collaborate with system administrators, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure security compliance.
• Assist with audits, inspections, and remediation activities for classified environments.
• Provide cybersecurity guidance and recommendations to support system security posture.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP).
• 5+ years of Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) experience.
• Strong hands-on experience implementing and managing STIG compliance.
• In-depth knowledge of Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503 and the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Strong knowledge of system administration, networking, and various cybersecurity technologies.
• Experience supporting classified government environments.

Pay

Salary range: $150,000 - $180,000
