About the role

A day in the life:

• Spearheads the monthly closing process, ensuring global operations are precise.
• Crafts insightful financial analyses for international success.
• Develops advanced processes and procedures to enhance reporting capabilities.
• Supports management with complex international business strategies and transactions.
• Navigates and documents intricate international business strategies and transactions.
• Facilitates and completes monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings.
• Liaises with local employees, vendors, legal counsel, customers, and other departments for accounting, tax, invoicing, debit/credit memos, payments, and compliance needs.
• Liaises with other departments for custom clearing documents, renewal of business/car licenses, and insurance needs.
• Assists with financial and tax audits.
• Analyzes profit and loss fluctuations.
• Performs other projects as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the accounting and financial activities of the assigned international division.
• Facilitates and completes monthly close procedures.
• Processes divisional journal entries and related balance sheet reconciliations.
• Facilitates and completes monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings.
• Liaises with local employees, vendors, legal counsel, customers, and other departments for accounting, tax, invoicing, debit/credit memos, payments, and compliance needs.
• Liaises with other departments for custom clearing documents, renewal of business/car licenses, and insurance needs.
• Assists with financial and tax audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
• CPA/MBA preferred.
• 4+ years of diverse experience in Accounting/Finance/Auditing, preferably in multinational companies.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in all other Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in the consumer products, licensing, and/or entertainment industry preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to handle stress and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative and cooperative working style with all levels of employees, management, and external customers/vendors/agencies.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting/Finance.
• CPA/MBA a plus.

Benefits

Monster Energy provides competitive total compensation. The estimated annual salary range for this position is $71,250 - $95,000 USD.
