About the role
You will report to the Manager of the Enterprise Integration (EI) Platform team. In this role you will serve as a Technical SME responsible for leading integration delivery, guiding architectural design, and aligning projects with the enterprise roadmap. You will mentor development teams, ensure code quality, and oversee platform enhancements while maintaining up to 20% hands-on development.
Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership & Mentoring: Guide and mentor internal and offshore developer teams, perform code reviews, and enforce integration governance policies.
- Architecture & Design: Partner with Integration Architects to review, approve, and implement cloud integration solutions and API designs.
- Platform & Monitoring Management: Oversee build improvements, platform upgrades, migrations, and ensure robust monitoring using CloudWatch, Datadog, and Splunk.
- DevOps & Delivery: Drive CI/CD automation, manage release artifacts, and troubleshoot technical issues across complex cloud environments.
- Hands-On Development: Execute hands-on engineering tasks (up to 20%) to support complex features or framework builds.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 4–7+ years of experience in integration development and technical leadership within global enterprises.
- Deep expertise in API architecture, microservices, enterprise messaging systems, and cloud-native solutions.
- Implementation experience of integration cloud platforms at a global scale.
Skills
- Primary Languages: Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Java, Scala, and Python.
- AWS & Serverless Stack: AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, ECS, basic Kubernetes, and Kafka.
- Observability & Monitoring: AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, and Splunk.
- DevOps & Infrastructure: Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven, VPC, VPN, load balancers, and container orchestration.
- Optional/Nice-to-Have: Experience with MuleSoft, IIB, IBM MQ, or GoAnywhere MFT.
- Strong understanding of integration and API architecture and DevOps / CI / CD.
- Understanding of security concepts such as identity management, authentication, authorization.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in dynamic, fast-paced environment.
