About the role
The AIS Power & Cooling team is seeking a results-oriented individual to own sourcing and supply management for Data Center Power & Cooling Equipment. This role involves managing the end-to-end global sourcing and supply chain for one or more categories within the Power and Cooling Equipment space, supporting AWS Data Center build projects. The primary responsibility is to maintain unconstrained supply globally, aligning supply with demand signals and driving appropriate strategies for continuous supply.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage sourcing and supply chain strategies on a global scale
- Drive the strategic aspects of large complex cross-functional projects
- Understand and position supply to support unconstrained growth at AWS scale in both the short-term and long-term
- Engage with global supply chain counterparts to drive leading supply chain practices and initiatives
- Partner with engineering teams to drive NPI initiatives and value-engineering initiatives
- Drive innovation through the supply chain and influence industry practices
- Develop analytical reports to support improved decision-making
- Manage supplier lead times and ensure they meet AWS business requirements
- Manage supplier performance and allocate material to demands based on priority
- Manage cross-functional projects against plans and objectives to meet commitments and goals
- Identify and drive realization of opportunities for sustainable, scalable, relative advantage in your category
Requirements
- 2+ years of program, project or product management, or leading product implementation experience
- 6+ years of related industry experience
- 8+ years of data analysis using tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in data analysis using tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, or equivalent
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments
- Experience with Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience in global supply chain management, managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics product company
- Experience in program, project or product management, or leading product implementation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies
- Experience in negotiations with global suppliers with a proven track record in cost reduction
- Experience in procurement practices working with engineering, supply chain and Tier 1 OEM partners
- Experience practicing best-in-class procurement processes (category management, benchmarking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, or equivalent)

Pay
Base salary range for this position is $147,900.00 - $200,100.00 USD annually.
