Sr. Instock Manager, Cross Border inventory transfer
As the Sr. Instock Manager, you will own instock metrics such as Availability and Inventory health, and define and execute a Buying strategy for a cross-border inventory program. This involves understanding SCOT Buying systems and working with emerging countries to align strategies that improve availability. You will partner with product managers, program managers, in-stock managers, and vendor managers across Europe and South Africa to drive these metrics.
In this role, you will lead and influence multiple stakeholders in an ambiguous environment while maintaining a customer-centric philosophy. You will help redefine Supply Chain to align it with Amazon procurement systems and enhance collaboration with both vendors and the existing Amazon Fulfillment Center (FC) network. The position involves all aspects of instock, operational management, and Supply Chain optimization.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Buying efficiency and effectiveness, and improve availability.
- Perform root cause analysis and reporting on forecasting and operational issues, develop action plans, and manage improvements.
- Lead collaborative planning, forecasting, and replenishment processes with Retail and program teams.
- Work with responsible country teams to meet business demand plans by assessing deal and opportunity buys.
- Recommend and drive action plans to increase inventory turns.
- Drive system, tools, and process improvements that affect purchasing and vendor management workflow, with an emphasis on automation.
- Develop analysis of key business metrics and execute recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Excel.
- Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of professional or military experience.
- Experience working with complex data sets.
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership.
- Strong analytical acumen, with experience generating reports and analyses.
- Ability to support decisions in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with strong attention to detail.
- Continuous learning and contribution to knowledge management.
- SQL and Excel proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques.
- Experience with SQL.
Pay
USA, WA, Seattle - $121,200.00 - $163,900.00 USD annually.
