This position is hybrid, 3 days onsite per week in Austin, Texas (78701). Only candidates currently residing in Texas (Austin area preferred) will be considered.
Description of Services
Master Data Management (MDM) Developer who will design, develop, and implement solutions on the Informatica MDM Cloud platform to support ERS's enterprise data strategy. This role focuses on building models, workflows, and integrations to ensure accurate, consistent, and accessible master data.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop projects/models within Informatica MDM Cloud for multiple environments, including Development, Test, QA, and Production.
- Configure match/merge logic, survivorship rules, and trust/validation rules for master data.
- Build and maintain data ingestion and integration jobs for the MDM platform.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements and resolve technical challenges.
- Ensure secure and reliable data flows between internal systems and third-party applications.
- Perform Informatica administration tasks, including:
- User management
- Monitoring
- Troubleshooting
- Partner with architects to refine MDM architecture for performance and scalability.
- Develop and maintain Informatica Data Quality components according to design and functional specifications.
- Support post-MDM development transition and train ERS employees on maintaining Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as an MDM Developer, including configuring and deploying Informatica MDM.
- Strong database design and management skills using:
- Snowflake
- SQL
- DBT
- Experience with relational and dimensional data modeling.
- Proven experience implementing ETL/ELT workflows.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Information Systems or a related field.
- Advanced experience with Informatica platform performance tuning.
- Experience with enterprise-scale MDM deployments.
Professional Expectations
- Attend all meetings, meet delivery deadlines, and remain available during ERS office hours.
- Log in and remain on agency Jabber during work hours.
- Attend remote meetings with camera on unless prior arrangements have been made.
