About the role

IRP Med is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner III (Bilingual - Spanish) to partner with managers and employees to align human resource services with the business objectives. Acts as a change agent and leads talent management activities. Anticipates and assesses human resources-related needs and seeks to implement integrated solutions. Formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees.

This position will be based out of San Clemente, CA (IRP Medical).

Responsibilities

  • Provides strategic HR guidance and aligns human resources solutions to meet current and long-term business objectives.
  • Partners with business leaders to drive employee engagement, productivity, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Collaborates with leadership on workforce planning, succession planning, and the development of key talent and critical positions.
  • Provides coaching and guidance to managers on performance management, employee development, and leadership effectiveness.
  • Partners with management to communicate and implement HR policies, procedures, and employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Identifies organizational training and development needs and partners with leadership to implement appropriate solutions.
  • Partners with business and HR leadership to resolve employee relations matters and conduct thorough, objective investigations.
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to support workforce planning and drive the hiring process through requisition creation, timely interview feedback, candidate selection, onboarding, and successful new hire integration.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Maintains HR systems, records, and processes to support accurate and compliant HR operations.
  • Supports annual performance review, compensation planning, and salary review processes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field. Or a High School Diploma/GED, plus four (4) years relevant experience and appropriate certifications may be substituted for meeting the educational requirements only.
  • Five (5) years + relevant experience in Human Resources.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal) required.
  • Knowledge and experience in managing human resource programs, processes, administrative procedures, and compliance with government laws/regulations as appropriate for the business location.
  • Ability to anticipate internal or external business challenges/regulatory issues and make recommendations.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing HR projects/programs, and ability to influence and drive organization planning and execution at the unit level.
  • Ability to interface with cross-functional disciplines; using excellent interpersonal skills to drive tasks to completion.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize with changing situations.
  • Experience utilizing Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) to maintain employee records, process personnel actions, and support HR operations.
  • This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Employment is contingent upon the applicant being a “U.S. person” as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15), which includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees, as required by U.S. export control laws.
