About the role

We’re looking for top-notch Sr. HR Representatives to provide outstanding customer service to our business leaders at distribution centers and regional offices across the country. You’ll serve as a strategic counsel and advisor, bringing challenge and perspective to business agendas while ensuring our environment is the best possible workplace for our associates. This role requires a high regard for personal accountability, integrity, trust, and customer focus.

Some of our distribution centers are free-standing; others are on-site with customers. No matter the location, we’re part of their team, invested in their success, and our operation is fully transparent.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and recommendations to business managers on matters impacting people within the organization
  • Serve as an advocate and counsel to hourly and exempt associates
  • Drive initiatives and activities in support of site climate and culture
  • Manage and conduct internal investigations as needed
  • Ensure compliance with required regulations, policies, and laws related to Human Resources activities
  • Administer audit activities for compliance within HR policies and procedures
  • Train management in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance reviews, safety, and sexual harassment
  • Provide feedback and coaching to managers; actively listen and ask clarifying questions regarding associates
  • Manage staffing, succession planning, and associate programs and processes
  • Implement and manage training and development activities; monitor effectiveness
  • Administer compensation and benefits systems, processes, and employee communications
  • Administer action planning activities related to the annual EOS process
  • Ensure compliance with performance management systems
  • Enter and maintain data in the HRMS system

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • 4+ years of work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in HR with exposure to all major functional areas of HR
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification (preferred)
  • Proven experience leading deployment of organizational change
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • Previous experience partnering with senior management
