Leadership Coaching & Support
Partner with supervisors and leads to reinforce leadership principles and HR best practices.
Guide managers through recurring processes (e.g., performance reviews, merit increases, promotions, open enrollment).
Employee Relations
Serve as the first point of contact for employees; conduct routine investigations and escalate as appropriate.
Assist leaders with disciplinary actions and attendance management, including terminations.
HR Processes & Compliance
- Support onboarding and ensure compliance with I-9 and other regulatory requirements.
Submit and approve employee changes in HRIS (e.g., cost center, department, supervisor changes)
Assist with various contingent workforce processes
Payroll & Timekeeping
- Provide guidance and assistance in regards to timekeeping
Troubleshoot payroll issues and ensure accurate application of policies and practices
Employee Engagement
Support site engagement activities and initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
Systems & Reporting
- Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports as needed
Process Improvement
Support lead process improvement projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience: 5+ years of well-rounded HR experience, which includes strong employee relations and investigations experience
3+ years of HR experience supporting the hourly population
HR experience with a contingent workforce preferred
Manufacturing/operations experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and compliance
- Proficiency in Excel
- Exposure with HRIS systems (Workday and UKG preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication and coaching skills
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
- Flexibility to adjust schedule occasionally to support multiple shifts
