Sr. Group Underwriter
Job Summary
The Senior Group Underwriter position will underwrite complex Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, Disability and Life new business opportunities and renewals for Chubb Workplace Benefits. The role involves partnering with sales to optimize plan design and pricing, ensuring compliance, and managing client onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Engage with Sales to present competitive Chubb proposals
- Create proposals for potential clients to secure business
- Collaborate with other functional areas for new group client onboarding
- Gather and analyze data on group clients and distribution partners
- Participate in and lead initiatives for Group Underwriting continuous improvement
- Meet departmental goals for productivity, quality, and turnaround time
- Handle complex cases within assigned authority limits (Binding Authority 5,000+ lives)

Pay Range
$80,000 to $115,000
