About the role

The Sr. Product Manager or Group Product Manager – Bill Payment is a player-coach role responsible for the day-to-day management of Invoice and Bill Payment suite of products. You will work closely with the Executive Director to set the strategic direction for the product that supports the growth strategies for Invoice and Bill Payment solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Be involved with product throughout all stages of life cycle (conception, definition, development, release and post-release activities).
  • Gather data on new product ideas and evaluates them for financial and market potential.
  • Work with product development on new products and current product enhancements.
  • Ensure achievement of strategic revenue objectives for the product.
  • Play a proactive role in product planning and design to ensure the product is differentiated from competitors.
  • Work closely with training, sales, customer support and product support on positioning products, designing demos, developing training courses, etc.
  • Identify market needs and opportunities to enhance Invoice and Bill Payment products and create execution plans to capitalize on these opportunities.
  • Remain connected to customers to ensure merchant and partner experience continues to evolve in line with market needs and company revenue and profitability goals.
  • Manage and report on the key metrics for the initiatives associated with Merchant and Partner Onboarding experience.
  • Partner with sales, marketing, and operations to develop our strategic go-to-market approach, roadmaps, etc.
  • Work with R&D and Operations teams via the Epic intake processes to create operationally sound products and ensure product availability.
  • Partner with R&D and developers to enhance/evolve Invoice and Bill payment products in line with overall product roadmap and vision.
  • Depending on level of role, this position may lead and mentor a small team, including Product Managers and Associate Product Managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of B2B2C product management experience, including ownership of roadmap prioritization, and delivery in a cross-functional environment preferably from a fintech, payments or lending business.
  • 4+ years of experience managing third-party API integrations.
  • 2+ years managing and mentoring a team of Product Managers preferred.
  • Demonstrated success influencing senior stakeholders, making data-informed tradeoffs.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; able to synthesize complex topics and drive decisions across diverse audiences.
  • Strong product craftsmanship: roadmap prioritization, requirement definition, acceptance criteria, and end-to-end lifecycle ownership.
  • Hands-on experience with Design Thinking, Lean product management, and experimentation methods (e.g., hypothesis-driven development, MVPs, A/B tests).
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, and timelines with high quality.
  • Analytical and data-informed decision making; ability to define KPIs, interpret insights, and measure product outcomes.
  • Prior experience with writing SQL queries and end-to end management of Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English in a professional business environment.
