Sr. GRC Engineer

About the role

The Sr. GRC Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining global governance, risk, and compliance programs. This role requires expertise in IT governance, risk management, and compliance, with a focus on ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain global governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on GRC best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT governance, risk management, and compliance
• Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines
• Experience with GRC tools and platforms
• Knowledge of ITIL and ISO 27001

Skills

• Strong understanding of IT governance principles
• Experience with risk assessment methodologies
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
