About the role
The AWS Cloud Logistics team is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist in Bellevue, WA to manage day-to-day warehousing operations for the fastest-growing industries while working on projects to enhance operations.
Responsibilities
- Engage in daily tactical communication with external vendors (Logistics Service Providers) and internal customers
- Lead large projects independently
- Travel to audit warehouses throughout NALA (mostly domestic USA)
- Analyze data from numerous databases (using Excel, SQL, and/or other data management systems) and perform reporting and analysis as needed
- Publish performance metrics to assist with driving business results
- Quickly and efficiently understand the business impact of observed trends and make decisions based on available data
- Identify and eliminate root causes of defects in order to drive efficiency in Amazon’s transportation operations
- Work with multiple stakeholder teams in the Supply Chain to jointly solve problems and implement standards
- Work within time constraints to meet critical business needs
Requirements
- 5+ years of program, project or product management, or leading product implementation experience
- 6+ years of related industry experience
- 5+ years of data analysis using tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of high volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in data analysis using tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, or equivalent
- Experience with Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies
Skills
- Passionate about warehousing operations and process efficiency
- Passionate about warehousing operations and vendor management
- Excellent data-driven problem resolution skills
- Ability to work with data to analyze and report complex data sets to drive optimal business decisions

Base salary range: $147,900.00 - $200,100.00 USD annually
