Sr. GIS Programmer

Job Summary

Perform GIS application development and support. Assist in upgrading and developing an Agricultural Preservation Model. Upgrade a custom ArcMap AddIn (C#/Python) to an ArcGIS Pro AddIn. Work in an Enterprise GIS environment, focusing on code review, documentation, planning, and development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain databases to support GIS applications.
• Utilize programming languages such as J2EE, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, C#, and Python for application development.
• Leverage ESRI ArcGIS technologies including ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS APIs, ArcGIS JavaScript API, Esri SDKs, and ArcSDE.
• Apply experience with ArcGIS Model Builder and Python scripting.
• Design and execute SQL queries, triggers, and stored procedures; utilize relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server).
• Develop reports using SSRS and Power BI.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Government experience.
• Background in systems or project analysis/management.
