Sr. Geologist

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Geologist to join our International New Ventures Team in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and mature exploration opportunities
• Integrate geological, geophysical, petrophysical, geochemical, and well log data to assess petroleum systems
• Generate and mature prospects
• Work within an interdisciplinary team of geoscientists, engineers, business development, and land professionals

Requirements

• MS degree in Geology
• Minimum of 5 years working as an Exploration or Development Geologist
• Strong expertise in integrating geological, geophysical, petrophysical, geochemical, and well log data
• Proficiency with industry-standard geoscience software such as Petra, Petrel, Kingdom, ArcGIS, or similar platforms
• Able to handle high volumes of data
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
• Desire to be a team player
• International exploration experience a plus
• Preferred having both conventional and unconventional exploration and development experience

Qualifications

Job Requirements: MS degree in Geology and a minimum of 5 years working as an Exploration or Development Geologist required.

Skills
