About the Role

Are you passionate about Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Generative AI? Do you want to help customers build solutions using state-of-the-art AI/ML/GenAI tools on Amazon Web Service (AWS)? Join us at AWS, where we’ve been deeply invested in AI for over 20 years. We’re looking for a Machine Learning Solutions Architect (ML SA) to act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for helping customers in the AMERICAS design solutions leveraging our ML services.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers’ development and data science teams to understand their business and technical needs.
• Design solutions that optimize the use of AWS cloud platform and AI/ML services, including SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock, Amazon AgentCore, Amazon Rekognition, Amazon Transcribe, Amazon QuickSight, Amazon Personalize, and others.
• Partner with SAs, Sales, Business Development, and AI/ML Service teams to accelerate customer adoption and revenue attainment in the AMERICAS for Amazon SageMaker and related GenAI services.
• Evangelize AWS ML services through thought leadership, including blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public speaking at events like AWS Summit and AWS re:Invent.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers and AWS service teams to provide feedback for product improvements.
• Develop and support an internal AWS community of GenAI subject matter experts in the AMERICAS.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in specific technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructures.
• Deep technical expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and/or deep learning.
• Strong mathematics and statistics background preferred.
• Familiarity with the GenAI software vendor ecosystem.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
• Experience working with end-user or developer communities.
• Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level stakeholders.
• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS.

Pay

The base salary range for this position varies by location:

• USA, CA, San Francisco: $176,600.00 - $239,000.00 USD annually
• USA, CO, Denver: $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 USD annually
• USA, GA, Atlanta: $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 USD annually
• USA, NY, New York: $169,000.00 - $228,600.00 USD annually

Final compensation includes sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
