Sr Fullstack Developer

About the role

We’re hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer for a long-term remote contract opportunity with a leading education technology organization. The contract runs from September 22, 2026 through June 25, 2027 and is open to candidates with or without a visa.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable full-stack applications and backend services.
• Develop modern applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python.
• Build REST APIs, microservices, data pipelines, and ETL processes.
• Work with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SNS/SQS, and other serverless technologies.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries.
• Implement CI/CD, DevOps, automation, and testing practices.
• Create technical designs, documentation, and unit tests.
• Collaborate with product, data, research, and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Strong full-stack development experience.
• Strong React and TypeScript expertise.
• Advanced JavaScript (ES6) skills.
• Strong Python proficiency.
• Solid Node.js backend development experience.
• Hands-on AWS experience.
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, and automation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS CDK/CloudFormation.
• Event-driven architecture.
• E2E/API testing.
• Agile experience.
