Sr Fullstack Angular Developer

About the role

Contract position in Charlotte, North Carolina. Work hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support microservices-based applications.
• Implement and support DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with development, QA, product, and operations teams.
• Write and maintain robust unit tests and integration tests.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on Java application development using Java, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, XML, JSON, RESTful APIs, JDBC, JPA, and unit-testing frameworks.
• 6+ years of responsive and scalable UI development with Angular.
• 3+ years of SQL Server database development, including query optimization, stored procedures, and data modeling.
• Strong grasp of J2EE architecture, object-oriented design principles, and industry-standard design patterns.
• Solid experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence for project tracking, documentation, and collaboration.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience (or equivalent via work, consulting, training, or military experience).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• 1+ year using GitHub Copilot, GitHub Copilot Agent, Devin, or similar AI-assisted development tools.
• Knowledge of application monitoring tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, etc.).
