This role is based at our client site in Pittsburgh, PA, requiring on-site presence 5 days a week.
About the role
CGI is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer with a focus on Angular to build secure, scalable, and high-performance RESTful and event-driven APIs. You will work on projects for one of the largest financial institutions in the U.S., gaining exposure to advanced tools and technologies in a challenging technical environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement front-end Angular user interfaces and backend API/microservices components.
- Build user interfaces using Angular.js and Node.js (JavaScript framework).
- Develop and unit test Java RESTful services that integrate with external client systems.
- Analyze user requirements and define technical project scope and assumptions for assigned tasks.
- Create technical designs for new systems and modifications to existing systems.
- Translate detailed requirements into functional system designs.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external design, business, and technical counterparts.
- Research and recommend functional libraries to expedite development.
Requirements
- Minimum 6+ years of overall experience.
- 6+ years of experience with Java, Angular, ReactJS, CSS, JavaScript, HTML, and Node.js.
- 3+ years of experience with GitHub, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- 3+ years of experience with RESTful or SOAP web services.
- Java/J2EE development experience with REST API, Spring Boot, OpenShift Container, Angular, XML, JSON, UML, Jenkins, and Swagger.
- 3+ years of experience building containerized microservices and deploying container apps.
- Experience writing unit tests for JavaScript code.
- Experience using Agile methodologies for application development.
Pay
A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 – $176,300.00.
