About the role

The Senior Full Stack Developer plays a key role in Pacific Life's growth and long-term success by building and delivering cutting-edge self-service capabilities for customers on our external facing websites in addition to enabling marketing technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, Develop & Deliver end to end solutions to meet business needs and build as per enterprise architecture guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Own end-to-end feature development, from concept to deployment.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and system stability concerns.
  • Design, Develop & Maintain end to end CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ Years of software development experiences with minimum 2 years of experience as Full Stack Engineer.
  • Proven expertise in building and maintaining web applications using modern frameworks and libraries (e.g., React).
  • Strong proficiency in server-side languages (Node.js).
  • Experience with other programming languages like Python and/or Java is a plus.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud services and serverless computing.
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and SOAP/RESTful/GraphQL API design.
  • Experience with database technologies (SQLServer, PostgreSql, DynamoDB).
  • Proficiency with DevSecOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Experience with Work Management platforms Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Qualifications

  • AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified Developer).
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools.
  • Experience with an Integration Platform like Mulesoft is a plus.
  • Knowledge of best practices in cybersecurity and data protection.

Skills

  • Experience with modern web development frameworks and libraries.
  • Strong proficiency in server-side languages and technologies.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud services and serverless computing.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and API design.
  • Experience with database technologies.
  • Proficiency with DevSecOps practices and tools.
  • Experience with Work Management platforms.
  • Problem-solving and adaptability skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
