General Summary

Working under the supervision of the FP&A Supervisor, the Senior FP&A Analyst will lead the financial planning, analysis, forecasting, and reporting functions across the organization. This role is critical in ensuring the financial health of the organization, providing senior leadership with actionable insights, and enabling data-driven decision-making.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Leadership In Financial Planning & Budgeting (15%): Perform comprehensive financial planning and budgeting activities, including developing and maintaining financial models, conducting variance analyses, and creating financial forecasts and budgets.

  • Advanced Financial Analysis & Reporting (20%): Conduct advanced financial analysis, prepare detailed financial reports, and support the preparation of board-level presentations and executive summaries.

  • Grant And Fund Management Analysis (10%): Analyze grant and fund management activities, including tracking and reporting on grant expenditures and managing donor relationships.

  • Strategic Decision Support (5%): Provide strategic financial advice and support to senior leadership, helping to make informed decisions based on financial data.

  • Performance Monitoring & Key Metrics Development (15%): Monitor departmental performance against financial goals, develop key performance metrics, and track progress towards financial objectives.

  • Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration (20%): Lead cross-functional teams, collaborate with various departments, and facilitate the refinement of financial processes and budget management practices.

  • Financial Systems And Process Improvement (15%): Improve financial systems and processes, enhance budget management, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Education

  • Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience

  • 5+ Years of Experience: In financial planning and analysis, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role, preferably in the non-profit sector.

  • Expertise: Experience working with complex financial structures, including grants, donations, and multi-source funding in a non-profit environment.

  • Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, familiarity with financial reporting tools and accounting software, strong knowledge of non-profit accounting standards, excellent analytical skills, and exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Work Schedule

Hybrid, Full time, typically M-F, regular business hours.

Work environment

Office work environment; ambient temperature, noise level, indoors.

Background & Health Clearance Requirements

Specific roles may have additional verification / clearance to the standard background check as part of the recruitment and selection process, including: Live Scan Clearance / DOJ Fingerprinting, Health Clearance, MVR / DMV clearance in accordance with CCRC’s liability insurance provisions, Child Development Permit, CPR / Pediatric CPR certification, Federal Debarment Checks, Credit & Bankruptcy Check, and Employee Assistance and Wellness Programs.
