About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) - Digital Native Business to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role partners closely with strategic customers to deliver production-grade technical solutions that support large-scale data and AI initiatives. You will guide architecture, bootstrap complex implementations, and translate business and technical needs into scalable, secure outcomes. The position also requires strong collaboration with internal engineering and support teams to resolve issues quickly and help shape successful project delivery. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Pay

Compensation: $182,000 – $250,208 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead impactful customer technical projects by delivering production-grade systems
• Guide strategic customers in transformational big data and AI implementations
• Advise on architecture and design, ensuring successful project bootstrapping
• Own architecture and design decisions for scalable and secure solutions
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure project alignment with customer needs
• Provide feedback to Engineering and Customer Support for swift resolution of technical issues
• Engage with diverse stakeholders to deeply understand client challenges and deliver impactful solutions

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or software engineering
• Proficient in coding with Python, Scala, and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Familiar with cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP, with expertise in at least one
• Deep understanding of distributed computing with Apache Spark™
• Experience in CI/CD practices for production environments
• Knowledge of MLOps and AI model deployment
• Capability to manage technical project delivery and translate concepts into actionable solutions
