Sr Forklift Operator
Key Duties
- Loading and unloading goods from vehicles into correct storage bays following inventory control instructors.
- Conducting cycle counting.
- Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment.
- Loading trucks in parcel on foot.
- Aiding in replenishing inventory in the warehouse.
- Picking and packing inventory for timely shipment.
- Aiding with regular compliance reviews against policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- 4-6 years of related experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or warehousing environment required.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and RF Scanners.
- Ability to read, understand, and carry out written procedures and standard work instructions.
- Ability to lift at least 49 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Operate pit equipment efficiently – cherry picker, reach, sit down, and clamp.
