About the role

We are looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to act as the financial backbone of our North American Transportation Operations. In this role, you will partner directly with logistics leaders, optimize millions in freight spend, and use data to shape the future of our supply chain. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Own the budgeting and planning process for the Transportation Operations Team.
  • Manage the month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
  • Manage the relationship with the third-party freight payments processor to ensure timely vendor payments.
  • Collaborate across departments to resolve invoicing issues for domestic and international shipments, and maintain freight standards in SAP.
  • Ensure adherence to SOX compliance and Colgate Audit Department (CAD) internal financial controls, including testing and cooperating with external auditors.
  • Partner with the Analytics Team to build new financial reports that support network development.
  • Guide the operations team on purchase order (PO) creation and payments, and assist with on-site inventory counts as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 4+ years in corporate Finance or Accounting roles.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP/large ERP systems.
  • Advanced user knowledge in Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA and/or MAC.
  • Prior experience with DOMO, Sigma, or BI/BW/Power BI.
  • Knowledge of Google Sheets is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills.

Pay

Salary Range: $106,400.00 - $155,000.00 USD. Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
