Sr Financial Analyst - Product Development

About the role

This position provides financial guidance and analytical support for Motorcycle Product Development. The Sr Financial Analyst will perform month-end closing duties including reporting, variance explanations, and journal entries, as well as annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, capital business case support, and ad-hoc analyses. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with Product Development, Engineering, Design, Manufacturing, and other Finance areas, with regular exposure and presentations to company management.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end closing duties, including variance analysis, account reconciliations, journal entries, and results reporting for assigned motorcycle platforms and departments.
• Ensure understanding of and adherence to internal controls and GAAP.
• Provide business analysis and modeling to support the business.
• Prepare business cases for capital funding requests, including financial modeling with analysis of projected returns (IRR/NPV/Payback Period).
• Guide and partner with business teams in financial decision-making and budget management.
• Coordinate the development and tracking of project budgets, forecasts, and actuals.
• Participate in special projects as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of related work and/or public accounting experience.
• Competency in spreadsheets and accounting systems for analysis and financial modeling.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Finance and experience in a variety of Finance areas.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of management.
• Self-motivated with a continuous drive for process improvements.
• Strong attention to detail while maintaining a broader analytical perspective.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple tasks under time constraints.

Preferred Qualifications

• PowerBI experience.
• SAP and ERP experience.

Pay

The pay range shown represents the national average for this role. Your pay may vary based on geographic location and experience. The range for this position is $82,000 - $127,300.

Schedule

• Full-time, onsite at the Product Development Center (PDC) in Wauwatosa, WI.
• Shift: SHIFT1.
• Travel required: 0 - 10%.
