Sr. Financial Analyst, Devices Accessories FP&A

About the role

Amazon seeks a Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) to play a key role on the Amazon Devices Accessories Finance FP&A team. Over the past decade, Amazon has developed a number of market-leading, innovative, and fast-growing digital and mobile businesses including Kindle, Fire Tablets, Fire TV, and Echo/Alexa Family of Devices.

Responsibilities

• Financial reporting and consolidation for Worldwide Accessories performance
• Coordinate the overall close process partnering with various stakeholders
• Use a range of metrics and models to forecast, link KPIs to financials, and determine opportunities for improvement
• Facilitate effective leadership reviews, manage communication with stakeholders and monitor closure of follow up items
• Financial modeling, data mining and presentation support
• Manage data in financial systems and create insightful analysis to drive business improvement
• Manage database tools and reporting mechanisms

Qualifications

• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
• 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience
• 3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
• MBA, or CPA
• Knowledge of Tableau
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
