About the role
As the Sr Financial Analyst (SFA) supporting the Corporate channel P&L, you will analyze financial performance, establish budgetary goals, and develop recommendations on expense and cost-saving opportunities. This role supports financial consolidation efforts for Bath & Body Works, collecting, aggregating, and monitoring costs while identifying risks and opportunities related to the Corporate channel. You will provide executive leaders with budget, cost projections, and performance analyses, and support the quarterly earnings preparation process. This position reports to the Manager of Finance for FP&A.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the Corporate channel semi-annual budget process with and for departmental leaders (e.g., HR, Legal, Finance).
- Serve as an established business partner with cross-functional departments to ensure fluid communication on budgets, forecasts, and account coding.
- Partner with cross-functional finance teams, communicate accurate financial projections, and provide detailed variance analysis.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to facilitate strategic and tactical decision-making.
- Complete monthly P&L reporting, raising any known forecast risks and opportunities.
- Monitor and ensure the integrity and accuracy of all financial statements and systems.
- Provide inputs to the monthly fiscal closing process, including preparation of close variance analyses for the financial reporting close package.
- Demonstrate absolute adherence to data integrity and internal controls.
- Adhere to deadlines within the internal projections cadence (end-of-month process, systemic forecast loads, mid-month Risk/Opportunity updates).
- Analyze trends and other business initiatives to find opportunities for continuous improvement in functional work, reporting, and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- 4-5 years in a Financial Analysis and/or accounting environment.
- Budgeting, project evaluation, and spend/cost analysis skills.
- Experience in a retail environment preferred.
- Proficiency in financial systems; knowledge of SAP and/or project management experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Problem-solving ability in a high-volume, fast-paced environment serving high-profile customers.
- Proven ability to think analytically and creatively while maintaining financial controls.
- Excellent oral and written presentation skills to influence business decisions through fact-based analyses.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple, competing priorities.
- Highly motivated with independent initiative in performance against objectives.
- Exhibits leadership competencies and professional maturity in dealing with peers and leaders.
- Ability to distill, articulate, and model complex business questions/matters.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance or Accounting.
- MBA with a focus in Finance and/or Accounting preferred.
- Financial accreditations and/or CPA preferred.
