Sr. Financial Analyst
Responsibilities
- Develop financial models and forecasting tools to support budgeting, planning, and long-range business decisions.
- Analyze operating results against forecasts and budgets, highlighting key drivers behind variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to assess pricing strategies, margin performance, and overall business profitability.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports that translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for leadership.
- Use data analysis techniques to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that influence revenue and expense performance.
- Support monthly and quarterly planning cycles by consolidating inputs, validating assumptions, and improving reporting accuracy.
- Evaluate business performance across service lines or functions to help leadership make informed operational and investment decisions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to perform financial modeling, variance analysis, and detailed financial reporting.
- Experience conducting ad hoc analysis to support business decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical capability, including the ability to work with large data sets and apply data mining techniques.
- Understanding of pricing, margins, and profitability analysis, preferably within a services-based business.
- Proficiency in translating financial findings into practical recommendations for business partners.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Additional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CFP are a plus.
