Sr Financial Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join one of our leading healthcare clients, supporting the Global Supply Chain organization. This 3-month, 100% onsite contract role in Pleasanton, CA offers the possibility of extension based on performance and attendance, though no guarantee is provided.

Responsibilities

• Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting for Global Supply Chain functions.
• Manage and analyze inventory-related financials, including inventory reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Partner with cost center owners to support expense management, forecasting, and budget tracking.
• Assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and financial analysis.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for business and finance leadership.
• Support quarterly Latest Best Estimate (LBE) submissions and annual planning cycles.
• Assist with capital spending tracking and purchase requisition reviews.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support business decision-making and operational improvements.
• Utilize financial systems and tools, including SAP, Hyperion, and Power BI, to drive reporting and analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of financial planning and analysis experience, preferably supporting manufacturing, operations, or supply chain organizations.
• Experience with inventory accounting and cost center management.
• Proficiency with SAP, Hyperion/Essbase, Power BI, and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and business partnering skills.
• Eligibility to work with any employer without sponsorship.

Pay

$55 - $60 per hour (W2).
