Sr Field Service Supervisor - Herndon, VA
Responsibilities
- Supervise team activities and performance while maintaining hands on delivery activities
- Develop team and team members
- Identify opportunities for operational improvement through performance and business growth
- Assign and supervise service, spot and project work
- Collect, reconcile and report operational metrics to the SFSS and the customer liaison
Qualifications
- 5 years or more of hands-on experience with technical troubleshooting and field service processes, providing guidance and support to field technicians to resolve complex service issues
- 3 years of experience managing service schedules, performance metrics (KPIs), and customer satisfaction initiatives, with demonstrated success in meeting service-level objectives
- 3 years of experience utilizing field service management software and reporting tools to improve operational efficiency, resource utilization, and performance tracking
- Must be US Citizen
WE VALUE
- 1-3 years of experience in a leadership role within field service management, overseeing service operations, workforce planning, and team performance
- Technical certificate in Electrical, Controls, or IT, or 5+ years of experience in HVAC, fire alarm, building automation, and/or security systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred
- Experience leading field service teams and driving operational improvements
- Previous sales, customer success, or account management experience
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated success in leading, coaching, and developing technical teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply established standards and best practices
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements relevant to field service operations
