Responsibilities

  • Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, plans, specifications, contractual documents, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects.
  • Provide critical information about the current status of a project and accurately estimate cost and revenue outcomes.
  • Work closely with Walkers/Superintendents regarding project planning, field leadership, work plan development, submissions, and approvals.
  • Conduct recurring team meetings to align with project expectations and goals.
  • Manage complex material supplies and draft scopes of work for subcontractors.
  • Develop work plans and hazard analysis plans for crews to safely execute work.
  • Promote innovation for cost and schedule improvements.
  • Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications, safety standards, and productivity goals.
  • Perform complex construction designs (SOE, Hydraulics, PLC, Marine, etc.).
  • Assume additional responsibilities as directed by division and corporate management.
  • Travel as required for meetings, site visits, training, etc.
  • Ability to relocate as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or an engineering-related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in heavy civil construction.
  • Experience with Bridge Construction required.
