Sr. Field Account Manager
About the role
The Sr. Field Account Manager is responsible for expanding Vertafore's footprint by selling Vertafore products and services into existing accounts. This role involves executing the Vertafore Value Selling Process, presenting complex, solution-selling techniques at the executive level, and retaining existing revenue through building and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Expand Vertafore footprint by selling Vertafore products and services into existing accounts
- Execute the Vertafore Value Selling Process
- Present complex, solution-selling techniques at the executive level
- Make recommendations to customers that align business needs to technology solutions and services
- Retain existing revenue through building and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
- Expeditiously and effectively resolve customer concerns
- Engage with internal teams to suggest solutions and innovative ideas to better serve the customer
- Regularly perform against individual monthly and/or quarterly activity targets tied to revenue expansion and retention
- Chart and deliver timely and accurate forecasting and pipeline management
- Ensure value-selling methodologies are leveraged to process and track opportunities
Requirements
- At least 3 years of related software sales and account management experience
- Proven success in Business-to-Business application software sales and account management
- Proven track record of achieving goals and quotas
- Understanding of Salesforce.com and other key sales technologies used for Business Development, Opportunity creation and activity tracking
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills - Web Conferencing, MS Office, CRM software
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong, meaningful client relationships
- Demonstrated ability to follow sound business ethics when executing job responsibilities to build and maintain customer confidence
- Self-motivated and able to work independently

Pay
$75,000 - $85,000 + $55,000 commission
Schedule
Travel required up to 75% of the time. Ability to work remote with a stable internet connection on an as needed basis.

Lifting and Moving
Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements required to operate a computer. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision (working on a computer, etc.). Frequent sitting and/or standing. Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.
