Sr. Facets .Net developer
As a valued member of the healthcare technology team, you will design, develop, and support healthcare technology solutions built on the FACETS platform. Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, analysts, and operations teams to deliver scalable and high-quality healthcare solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and support healthcare solutions utilizing the FACETS platform and related technologies.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions across enrollment, claims, provider, and EDI processes.
- Develop and maintain FACETS integrations using Open Access, SOAP/REST APIs, XML, and other enterprise integration technologies.
- Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, scripts, and batch processes to support application functionality and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to applications, interfaces, databases, and batch jobs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements, conduct code reviews, and support release activities.
- Manage code deployments and version control processes using Git branching and merging strategies.
- Support Agile delivery teams by participating in sprint planning, development, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience developing and supporting applications within the FACETS healthcare platform.
- Knowledge of at least two healthcare functional areas, including Enrollment, Claims, and Provider modules.
- Experience supporting healthcare EDI transactions, including 834, 837, and related healthcare integrations.
- Experience working with Medicare and Medicaid plans, products, and business processes.
- Strong proficiency with SQL, Stored Procedures, XML, and VBScript.
- Experience with FACETS components such as Open Access, Core Batches, Extensions, and FACETS UI.
- Knowledge of service-oriented architecture and API integrations using SOAP and REST services.
- Experience troubleshooting application, database, interface, and batch processing issues.
- Familiarity with Git-based source code management and Agile development methodologies.
Skills
- Experience with scripting technologies such as Bash and .NET.
- Knowledge of job scheduling and workload automation tools, including Control-M.
- Experience supporting large-scale healthcare payer environments.
- Strong understanding of FACETS architecture, performance optimization, and platform best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in highly regulated healthcare environments.
Pay
The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $99K - $114K depending on experience and other qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
