Sr. EVMS Analyst

About the role

The Senior EVM Analyst will provide strategic earned value management leadership within Leidos' Kinetic Effects Division of the Defense Systems Sector. This role contributes directly to critical programs and related portfolios of work.

Responsibilities

  • Execute program EVMS policies and practices.
  • Support internal and external surveillance, audits, and reviews.
  • Support the organization’s EVMS talent development, performance management, and business strategy.
  • Provide advice on enhancing program performance through EVM analysis.
  • Align and integrate material management and manufacturing practices with traditional scheduling and EVMS best practices.
  • Develop advanced concepts, techniques, solutions, and standards.
  • Provide a thorough understanding of EVMS, deliverable content, issue identification, and resolution.
  • Interact regularly with senior executive leadership on strategic matters.
  • Negotiate and develop shared solutions with internal and external parties.
  • Interface with Program Managers, Contracts, and Senior Technical Personnel.
  • Participate in new business proposals through EVMS requirements, schedule support, and cost volume input.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree with 6-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise using OPDEC IPM/Deltek Cobra EVM tools.
  • IPMR/IPMDAR Formats experience.
  • Leading variance narrative efforts.
  • Subcontractor data integration.
  • Strong Excel skills (Pivot tables, Lookups, etc.).
  • Secret clearance required.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Willingness to work onsite in Huntsville, Alabama.

Qualifications

  • BA degree with 8-12 years of relevant experience.
  • Masters degree with 6-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Additional education, experience, or training may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Knowledge of IPMDAR Formats, FAR regulations, and DFAR regulations.
  • Experience in a Manufacturing/Production/Prototyping environment.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Pay
