About the role
We are seeking a Senior Equipment Validation Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 5-7 years of experience. This role involves validating complex equipment, managing projects, and ensuring quality and reliability standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Lead IQ, OQ, and PQ of equipment that has rotational and temperature controls.
- Act as project manager between third-party vendors to lead the design and implementation of complex systems.
- Study time, motion, methods, and speed involved in maintenance, production, and other operations to establish standard production rates and improve efficiency.
- Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.
- Read worker logs, product processing sheets, and specification sheets to verify adherence to quality assurance specifications.
- Aid in planning work assignments considering worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, and anticipated delays.
- Prepare charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization.
- Observe workers using equipment to verify proper operation and maintenance according to quality assurance standards.
- Observe workers performing tasks to determine time involved and fatigue rate using timing devices.
- Evaluate data and write reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (required).
- 5-7 years of experience in equipment validation.
- Strong IQ, OQ, and PQ validation skills.
- Project management experience, particularly with third-party vendors for design and implementation.
- Experience designing and validating chemical mixing systems.
Skills

- Team player with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to create sketches, engineering drawings, and perform common computations.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
- Experience with engineering software such as Computer Aided Design (CAD).
