About the role

We are seeking a Senior Equipment Validation Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 5-7 years of experience. This role involves validating complex equipment, managing projects, and ensuring quality and reliability standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Lead IQ, OQ, and PQ of equipment that has rotational and temperature controls.
  • Act as project manager between third-party vendors to lead the design and implementation of complex systems.
  • Study time, motion, methods, and speed involved in maintenance, production, and other operations to establish standard production rates and improve efficiency.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.
  • Read worker logs, product processing sheets, and specification sheets to verify adherence to quality assurance specifications.
  • Aid in planning work assignments considering worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, and anticipated delays.
  • Prepare charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization.
  • Observe workers using equipment to verify proper operation and maintenance according to quality assurance standards.
  • Observe workers performing tasks to determine time involved and fatigue rate using timing devices.
  • Evaluate data and write reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (required).
  • 5-7 years of experience in equipment validation.
  • Strong IQ, OQ, and PQ validation skills.
  • Project management experience, particularly with third-party vendors for design and implementation.
  • Experience designing and validating chemical mixing systems.

Skills

  • Creativity, verbal and written communication, analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Team player with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to create sketches, engineering drawings, and perform common computations.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
  • Experience with engineering software such as Computer Aided Design (CAD).
