About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall operation and maintenance of tools and facilities.
  • Perform set-up, calibration, troubleshooting, repairs, upgrades, and preventative maintenance on Test & Bonding equipment using a CMMS system.
  • Support the installation of process tools.
  • Collect and evaluate equipment data, including SPC, to ensure equipment baselines and operations remain in control and quality maintenance standards are met.
  • Create preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Drive and enable suggestions from the team and other sources to implementation, resulting in continuous improvement.
  • Provide recommendations for new or improved procedures.
  • Ensure lab safety, manage spare part inventory, and maintain 5S organization.
  • Cross-train other technicians.
  • Support operations as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of equipment maintenance experience (preferred but not required).
  • Associate Degree in Electronics, Manufacturing Technology, or equivalent working experience (desired).
  • Strong background in equipment maintenance.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand electrical schematics, pneumatic drawings, and piping schematics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to write technical procedures and work instructions.
  • General understanding of SPC.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office and computer skills.
  • Must be able to work in a clean room environment, work from ladders, and lift.
  • Shift work is required.
  • Prior experience on an Emergency Response Team with the ability to wear respirators and SCBA equipment (preferred).
  • Demonstrates personal modesty to enhance teamwork dynamics within the group and across cross-functional areas.
  • Ability to be on call on a rotating basis, if needed.
  • Must be a US Person (US citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual granted asylum or refugee status) due to US Export Control regulations.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM.

Pay

  • Equipment Technician I: $24.00 to $30.00 per hour.
  • Equipment Technician II: $26.00 to $33.80 per hour.
  • Senior Equipment Technician: $28.50 to $38.50 per hour.
  • Shift differentials: 10% for hours worked between 5:30 PM and 12:00 AM, and 15% for hours worked between 12:00 AM and 5:30 AM.
  • Target cash bonus with potential payout of up to 2% of earned wages.
