Sr. Environmental Graphic Designer

About the role

RSM Design is seeking a highly creative, self-motivated, and experienced senior-level Environmental Graphic Design (EGD) designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong conceptual thinking, visual communication, and problem-solving skills. This role involves assisting in all phases of project design and development, including programming, research and analysis, concept design, project management, development, and implementation drawings. Candidates should have strong experience with EGD projects from conceptual development through implementation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all phases of project design and development, including programming, research, and analysis.
• Develop concept designs and manage project execution.
• Create implementation drawings for EGD projects.
• Collaborate with senior team members on brand strategy, visioning, naming exercises, and visual identities.
• Guide clients and teams through design phases, ensuring creative expressions in print, digital, and built environments.
• Oversee project management for EGD and brand design projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a senior-level EGD designer or similar role.
• Strong conceptual thinking, visual communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with brand strategy, visioning, naming, and visual identity development.
• Ability to manage projects from conceptual development through implementation.
• Proficiency in creating implementation drawings and design documentation.
• Proven project management experience (for Project Director role).
