The position is responsible for ensuring facility operations maintain full compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations while championing sustainability goals and cultivating a strong safety and environmental culture across the plant.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support employees in achieving EHS objectives and organizational targets.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS programs to drive operational excellence.
• Manage environmental compliance across air emissions, wastewater, storm water, chemicals, and hazardous waste disposal.
• Handle environmental permits, regulatory reporting, and compliance documentation.
• Deliver EHS training to employees at all levels of the organization.
• Lead projects focused on waste reduction and water usage optimization.
• Monitor environmental performance metrics and maintain environmental management systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to advance and improve sustainability practices.

Requirements

• BS degree required; EHS degree or engineering degree highly preferred.
• Minimum of 6+ years of EHS experience with a focus on environmental operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Title 5 Certification, Storm Water Permit, or Modern Discharge Permit experience highly preferred.
